Yostar Pictures Co., Ltd. is proud to announce the appointment of multi-talented Director Keiichi Sato as creative director and representative of the company’s original IP department

Keiichi Sato has played an active part in a wide range of the creative industry, including film, animation, and design works that have been loved by fans all over the world.

He has played an active role in creating films that grabbed the attention of the Japanese audience, such as the director of the TV animation series TIGER & BUNNY (2011), writer and director of OVA KARAS (2005), director of animated film GANTZ:O (2016), and director of the live action adaptation of Black Butler (2014).
His fame and talent has crossed borders, and the animated film Asura (2012) was nominated for an award at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
Keiichi Sato’s filmmaking has been recognized not only in Japan, but across the world as something exceptional.

We believe that Keiichi Sato’s talent as a hitmaker and the resources that Yostar group can provide will have great synergy, capable of creating memorable films. Additionally, we are planning to have ALBACROW LLC. lead by our director Ryosuke Inagaki join the management lead by Keiichi Sato, creating a cooperative system where all participants of this project can unite and move forward together.

We are also proud to announce the creation of an original animated project lead by Keiichi Sato (writing and concept). We plan to announce additional details in the upcoming days.
